Michael Mitry, DPM
Dr. Michael Mitry, DPM, brings over 14 years of expertise since earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2010. He completed his residency training at Yale New Haven Health Systems/Bridgeport Hospital, culminating as Senior Resident.
Specializing in orthotics, laser treatment, shockwave therapy, trauma, and sports medicine, Dr. Mitry also performs foot and ankle surgery, particularly forefoot surgery. He is also well versed in pediatric care, adult flatfoot reconstruction, trauma, and reconstructive surgery. He holds affiliations with Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham and Norwood Hospital and is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Mitry is an active member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
He resides in Norwood, MA, his childhood home, and enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, and quality time with his family.
Christopher Karter, DPM
Dr. Christopher Karter, DPM, brings over nine years of dedicated podiatric experience to his practice, prioritizing patient-centered care above all else. A graduate of Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Karter completed his residency at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island/Kent County Hospital, specializing in reconstructive surgical procedures, trauma, diabetic limb salvage, and wound care. He has a keen interest in sports medicine as well.
As a believer in conservative treatment approaches, Dr. Karter emphasizes non-invasive methods whenever possible. He holds hospital affiliations with esteemed institutions such as Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham, Norwood Hospital, Mount Auburn Hospital, and Morton Hospital.
A proud member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Karter is committed to staying at the forefront of his field.
Outside the office, Dr. Karter finds joy in outdoor adventures alongside his wife, Valerie, and their two rescue dogs, residing in Plainville, MA. From trail running to snowboarding, he embraces an active lifestyle reflective of his passion for holistic wellness.
